How To Write 10 Articles Per Hour
Hello, dear readers!
As You might already know I am into Article Marketing, that’s how I actually started making money online - and never stopped, because obviously this model works.
Well, I started getting fed-up with writing articles… I am usually able to produce 3-4 articles every hour - but you have to agree this is not a fun task. Today I tried something different and I had 25 articles within 2 hours… You want to know the secret?
The speech recognition software. I got a copy of Dragon Naturally Speaking ($99), installed it on my computer and plugged in the microphone. Shortly after I opened up EzineArticles.com, opened up the most viewed and most published articles in my niche of interest, and then simply retold the articles, in my own words into the microphone. That’s where the magic comes in; the software automatically typed whatever I was saying into a word document…
I found this activity so fun, that I did all 25 articles. In 2 hours I had 25 unique content, keyword optimized, original articles! Small corrections were done within 10 minutes – that’s it!
Now the thing is, as I mentioned in some of my previous posts. English is my fifth language. I don’t speak naturally and I have an accent (Eastern European, for some reason people often think I have an Italian accent) I also speak it slower, so for those who speak English as their first language, 10 articles an hour is not a limit! I am sure you folks could do 15-20 articles every hour without ever looking back
Success and Happiness,
Alex
p.s. the software I used could be found here: http://www.nuance.com/naturallyspeaking/products/standard.asp - no, it is not an affiliate link.

Wow what a great idea… I love it. I will have to give it a try. I wonder if they have this for Macintosh.. surely they do. You should have added their link in here
for us lazy ones that don’t like looking for things. English is not my first language either.. hum wonder what that says about us. I used to have an Italian accent but, that’s because I am Italian. Lolol I have been in the US now for over 30 years, after moving here for college. Again thanks for sharing your info. Great idea I shall retweet it.

Thank You for the comment, Gabriella, I added the link at the bottom of the post

Great idea!
I have been reluctant of buying Dragon Naturally Speaking for a while since my 1st language is German. Where are you from originally if I may ask? Is that program good at handling weird accents like German?
Alex on January 30, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Oliver - I am originally Ukrainian, so my accent is pretty harsh, to give you an exmaple - here is a video with my voice in it: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=RTSzYNUEmSY
Dragon NS has a pretty good “user habit” tool, a training of a sort where the software makes you read provided text and they try to get adapted to your accent and speaking habits.
It’s not some sheisse, the software is the real deal!

Hey man,
I was just wondering if you could let us know the flow of your article marketing campaigns.
Right now I am trying to do a campaign that runs like this:
Articles —> Squidoo Lens (landing page)
Could I get your opinion?

Hey Alex, I’ve heard about Dragon Naturally Speaking software before, but as you said, didn’t really pay too much attention to that.
Articles are very useful in AM, so I might try this software out.
Thanks for reminding me.

Hey Alex,
I left a comment over at WA too, I’ve been looking around for some deals etc, newegg.com has it for 49.99US but they don’t ship to Canada
Thinking about driving over to bestbuy they have it listed for $119.99CAN plus tax, with the exchange rate shipping and them strange charges UPS get you with some times, bestbuy maybe a good deal.

Alex, thank you for telling us about this. I was wondering the last few weeks if Dragon Naturally Speaking would help me to write articles, but had not heard of anyone using it for that. I’m excited to try it. I see Amazon carries it for around $53.00
Thanks for sharing!

Great post, thanks for sharing. The mac version is MacSpeech, which is what I use. I’ve started a new article marketing challenge on my blog using it.

Hey Alex,
That’s an awesome idea! I will definitely try that. I would like to add, for those who can’t afford or don’t want to buy ‘Dragon Naturally Speaking’, if you have Windows XP or Windows Vista, you may have speech recognition software built in to the OS.
I think it depends on which type of Windows XP or Vista (e.g. basic, home premium, professional). I have Windows Vista Home Premium and it has speech recognition built in. It’s not a cheap version either. I have seen it compared side by side to ‘Dragon’ and it’s pretty much the same. Check this out before you buy.

Hello, Paul.
I tried the speech recognition that came with Vista and it is nowhere near the Dragon NS. Very inaccurate and much slower.
Just my personal experience.
RonnyG on February 8, 2009 at 11:24 am
Hey All,
I have speech recognition with Vista! The only way for me to know which is better (easier to use) Dragon or Vista is to buy Dragon. So any feed back might save me $50-100. bucks
Thanks RonnyG

This is a very good strategy for writing articles on the fly. Re-writing articles is the best way to get started writing articles. This technique provides a speedy re-writing process great.

Hello,
I saw this post and had to respond. Paraphrasing (telling in your own words) someone’s article without giving credit to the source is plagiarism and it’s illegal in the US. If you purchase an article or PLR content and you own the rights to use it as you wish, you may paraphrase, edit it or do as you like. Rewriting or retelling someone else’s article is plagiarism, plain and simple.
Alex on February 2, 2010 at 9:45 am
John, assume someone asks you; “What is affiliate marketing” and assume that you respond to that… will you also cite every single source that ever thought you what affiliate marketing is about? Because explaining something to someone is basically retelling (in your own words) the knowledge you acquired from different sources. Most of the content produced is based on previous content that has been thought, written, spoken…
