In this episode of Extra Paycheck Podcast I am joined by Brock McGoff, an inspiring entrepreneur and the founder of The Modest Man.
Brock McGoff was trying to find information online on how to dress well if you aren’t 6’3″ like most male models on the billboards adverting the newest collection. This is when Brock decided to start his own blog in 2012, The Modest Man – a style resource for men who are below average height.
Brock had a full time job at the time so he could only dedicate a small amount of time to his growing blog. Three years later (in 2015) Brock has finally decided to quit his job and concentrate on his blog, full time. A big decision and in Brock’s case a necessary one if he wants his site to grow and become the authority in the niche. Brock didn’t wait to make millions to make this decision, he simply grew his site’s income to the level where it covers his basic living expenses (although at income is smaller than his salary). It took him 3 years to get his site to earning the money needed however Brock claims it doesn’t have to take that long if you decide to make it happen faster.
In early 2016 Brock’s website was getting almost 100,000 unique visitors per month. I am going to stop spoiling the rest of this cool interview. Scroll up, press the PLAY button and enjoy the episode 😉
