EPP 067: Building Your Brand Through Local Events With Ambroise Debret

In this week’s episode of the Extra Paycheck Podcast I am joined by Ambroise Debret, an entrepreneur, growth hacker and local event organizer. In this episode we’re talking about setting up local events and growth hacking.

Also available on: iTunes | Stitcher | Tunein | Google Play

Ambroise Debret is one busy guy. In my opinion he’s an entrepreneur first of all. He describes himself as “Product Owner & Growth Hacker at Yellow Pages and Organizer at MTL+ECOMMERCE”.

Ambroise joined the MTL + Ecommerce team a few short years ago and now this local event has become the biggest monthly ecommerce event in North America. With plans to expand to Vancouver, New York City abs beyond, you should definitely keep your eyes (and ears) open.

In this episode we’ll talk about some amazing examples of growth hacking but we’ll mostly be concentrating on organization of local events. These events can be very profitable but more importantly it will help you build and grow your own brand, business and company. Without giving out any more spoilers, scroll up and click the PLAY button!

In this episode you will learn:

  • Why you should be organizing local events
  • How to set-up an event in your city
  • How to use local events for growing your brand
  • How to find sponsors for your event
  • How to earn money with local events
  • What exactly is growth hacking
  • Why every entrepreneur should get some growth hacking skills
  • … and a lot more!
