Fanny Slater is a self-taught cook. She is also an author and and entrepreneur but first of all she is incredibly passionate about food. In March of 2016 Fanny’s book titled “Orange, Lavender & Figs” hit the shelves and it’s certainly a hit!
From the winner of The Rachael Ray Show’s Great American Cookbook Competition, a compilation of sophisticated yet approachable recipes along with the heartwarming—and often humorous—tales that inspired them.
Fanny always knew she’s an entrepreneur. She loves cooking and storytelling and what could be a better way of sharing these two passions as writing a unique cookbook? Fanny was offered a publishing deal after she wan the Rachael Ray’s cookbook competition and she surely took that deal. At this point Fanny’s touring the country promoting her book while running her recipe development company called “Fanfare”.
