Over the years I’ve been noticing the “celebrities” in my niche mention other smaller websites in their blog post, in their tweets, etc and I always wondered: “How did that small blog persuade this industry leader to talk about them?” Eventually I figured out that in many cases it was as simple as asking the influencer for a few minutes of their time.
Whenever you’re building a business it seems very hard to get people to notice you and even harder to get them to talk to you. But what if you got an industry leader to drop your name in their Youtube video or even send your website link to their thousands of email subscribers?
