You’ve stumbled upon the Golden Goose System by Desmond Ong and you wondered if it was the real deal or just another scam. In this Golden Goose System review I’ll look into this “system” and explain if it’s worth your money.
I’ve been doing online marketing since 2007 and over the years I have learned to spot the red flags within just a few seconds. Let’s look at the golden goose system and its red flags. It all starts with a counter at the very top of the page. Once the counter reaches zero you can simply refresh the page and it goes back to 1 hour countdown. This technique is called false scarcity and it’s considered unethical by real marketers. Running a limited promotion is totally fine as long as it’s real. The Golden Goose counter however is fake and doesn’t really mean anything.
Simple 3 step Golden Goose System will allow you to earn $277 per day without doing anything. Wow, that’s a bold claim. Over the years I have learned that there isn’t a magic shortcut to riches. You can make lots of money online but you’ll have to invest a lot of time and effort in order to see the results. There is no simple system. The earlier you understand this – the better.
Now let’s take a look at the actual video presentation.
The video starts with Desmond Ong, the owner of the system presenting himself. He claims to be a very well known internet marketing guru. Then he goes into saying that you can easily make $1,000-$2,000 every single day after you simply set up the Golden Goose System. Sounds too good to be true, right? He then goes on hyping up the system. There are only 3 easy steps to set it up then you never touch it again and make thousands of dollars every day.
Later on he talks about his student who is completely new to online business. Yet she sets up the Golden Goose system and made $4,800 in 5 days without doing anything. Now let’s be serious. If such system existed we’d all be rich by now.
Desmond claims that he normally charges at least $1,000 for this information but today you can get it for only $19. How generous of him! The videos goes on and you’re told that if you see the price tag of $197 instead of $19 that’s because you’re too late. In reality the price tag will never go up. This is once again a false scarcity technique. The creators want you to hurry and make a purchase right now, before you have the chance to think and figure out that this is not what it claims to be.
The Golden Goose System website (goldengoosesystem.com) was registered on February 4th 2017. We’re now in April and that “early bird” discount is still there. Once again, false scarcity.
Although they claim that the system costs only $19, they aren’t telling you the whole truth. First of all, I think that any legit system or training should give you a trial access completely free. If it is real and it works then why not let people test drive it without risking their money? I’ve been a member of this top online business training for years and they allow new members to get in for free.
Anyway, as you pay the $19 fee you’ll be bombarded with upsells and downsells.
You’ll be told that if you are really serious about making money online you’d have to sign up to a monthly plan that costs $27 every single month. Then if you are very serious you’d have to spend another $37. And if you are very really super serious you’d need to pay another $47. All in all it’ll cost you $103 in one time payments and a recurring $27 per month.
You probably noticed those video testimonials and golden goose system reviews from “real members”. Just think about it, when was the last time you recorded a video in order to share your gratitude with a company? Let me guess, never? Many shady online marketers simply hire paid actors who create a fake testimonial for just $5. Some might use their friends and even their employees for that.
In order to prove this point I paid 2 different actors to create this masterpiece:
See how easy it is? You shouldn’t trust those video testimonials, regardless of where you are online.
One last thing is unclear. What exactly is the Golden Goose System? I hate it when someone pitches a product or a service without ever explaining what it really is. The golden goose system is no different. They really aren’t transparent about their program.
Golden Goose System is about building an email list (or buying solo ads) and spamming that list with your affiliate links. There, I just saved you $103.
Email marketing works but it’s not a simple 3 step system. This marketing strategy has become more of an art form and it has to be done properly. Building a responsive email list takes a lot of time and effort. In order to start building a list you’ll need to get people coming to your blog or your sign up page of some sort and that’s not an easy task.
If you decide to use solo ads (pay someone who already has a list to send your emails to) then you’ll need to spend a lot of money on that. And even if you do that, there is no guarantee that you will earn a single penny from this. Most solo ads lists are considered of very low quality. In some cases you might send a promotional email to a list of 50,000 people and not a single one will make a purchase.
Once again, this isn’t as easy as Golden Goose System claims.
Is Golden Goose System a scam? Not totally since they will explain a thing or two about affiliate marketing and email marketing. However, you can find better quality content for free. Besides, you should always stay away from companies who promise easy money to you. “Overnight riches” systems simply don’t exist.
As I have mentioned before I’ve been doing online marketing since 2007. When I first started I was very gullible and I kept chasing the “shortcuts to riches” and magic systems. I ended up losing a lot of money to different scams and useless programs. This all changed when I stumbled upon this online business training. Almost 10 years later I am still a member of this amazing community. The coolest thing is, you can join in completely free. Put your credit card away and start your training without risking your hard earned money.
